Patient Care and Comfort
We care about you.
In today’s doctor-patient care, it seems as though people are forgotten. You wait for thirty minutes before getting ten minutes with a doctor who half listens to your problems.
In our practice, YOU come first.
Call our office, and most of the time, you’ll get an appointment on the same day. On average, you’ll wait five minutes when coming into the office before being seen.
Once in the room with Dr. Gary Bykoff, M. D., you are heard. We have one of the longest patient visit times in Eastern Connecticut. That means that we never rush you out the door. We don’t test you unnecessarily or give you medicines without thinking about the impact to your overall well-being.
Who we Are
When we say our staff is experienced, we mean it. Every member of our staff has been with our practice for more than 15 years.
Do you have questions about insurance? We provide answers in details and work through your problems with you.
We care about your overall health. We’ll recommend that you get a yearly physical because we know that finding problems early is the key to a long lived and happy life.
Internal medicine is about human problem solving. We review the entire picture of health, and determine the best next steps to provide care. While that often includes referrals to and coordination with some of the best specialists in the state, we will always keep your overall health in focus.
We’ll provide immunization for Pneumonia, Tetnanus-Diptheria-Pertussis, and the Flu because we don’t want you becoming sick unnecessarily.
Who You Are
Our patients are our family.
We have many multi-generational patients. Grand parents, parents and children each come into our practice knowing that their privacy is respected.
Our patients range in age from adolescents at age 13 up to “young at heart” patients in their 80’s and 90’s.
